Lebron James will go down as one of the best players to pick up a basketball. He has the talent of the greats and abilities that surpass many of them. He has a personality and aura around him that dictates being one of the iconic members of basketball lore. However, he has a shortsightedness that will keep him out of that group.
NASCAR changed their point system in the offseason to further add to the excitement of the points system as well as make wins even more important. However, in doing so, they have made the points system favor those that are capable of performing well at one type of track.

Just three months ago David Stern formally retired from the NBA. He left behind a legacy of building one of the four major sports brands into an empire. There were pitfalls along the way, but there is no denying that in his 30 year tenure, the NBA flourished. Now, his predecessor Adam Silver has his first major decision upon him.

Jarnell Stokes has chosen today to officially announce that he is leaving the college to pursue a career in the NBA. Stokes finished his career with 1129 career points, 836 rebounds and 40 career double-doubles. Impressive numbers for any player to leave for the NBA, but in many ways you have to question the decision.
