(Knoxville, TN) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting Sobriety Checkpoint(s) on the following date(s) and location(s) in Knox County:
1. Sunday, February 7th
– S.R. 168 at French Road, from 9p-11p (Knox County).
2. Tuesday, March 9th
– Concord Road at Northshore Drive, from 8p-10p (Knox County).
3. Monday, March 29th
– S.R. 61 at S.R. 131, from 8p-10p (Union County)
Troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated by drivers who are driving impaired/driving under the influence, in the State of Tennessee.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has found Sobriety Checkpoints to be an effective means of enforcing the DUI laws of Tennessee, while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
