(Knox County, TN) – In an effort to combine social distancing, physical activity and fun, Knox County Parks and Recreation is using a Hide and Seek program that will include four county park locations.
Participants are invited to download maps that show the hiding spots in each park and then travel to the parks to find the exact locations.
The locations are marked by KCPR with a yellow highlighted number on the maps. A tag has been placed at each hiding spot with a number on it.
Maps include space to record tag numbers, or participants can record tag numbers on a plain sheet of paper.
Please include your name, email, mailing address and phone number on your tag numbers list.
The hunt continues through April, allowing plenty of time
for Parents and their children to seek out the hiding spots!
When finished, participants should drop their list of tag numbers at the Knox County Parks & Recreation Office, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Lists can also be emailed to parks@knoxcounty.org. The deadline to
receive your list will be noon on Friday, April 30.
Only (10) $10 gift certificates to Dairy Queen will be awarded.
Winners will be drawn randomly from entries that have all 20 tag# locations.
A list of Winners will be posted on the county’s website and will be notified by email.
Social distancing is encouraged when participating in the hunt.
Knox County Parks & Rec staff encourages the use of hand sanitizer, should individuals touch any of the tags at the hiding places.
