Two needy families will have a Christmas they won’t soon forget. And, it’s all thanks to Liam Gossett of Seymour.
The five-year-old who was adopted recently, along with his siblings, wanted to be sure all kids get toys for Christmas. He sold hot chocolate and raised $1400! The money is going to help a single mom and her kids.
It’s a story WBIR’s Shannon Smith reported last week on Ten News. And, thanks to B97.5’s partnership with WBIR, the B97.5 Morning Show shared Liam’s story the next day.
But the story doesn’t end here.
We received a call from a listener (who wishes to remain anonymous) who wanted to donate to Liam’s mission. He rounded it up to $3,000 by donating $1600 of his own to the five year old.
Thanks to this “Secret Santa’s” donation, another family will have a special holiday with lots of toys!
B97.5’s Michele Silva & BuzzBee, and WBIR’s Shannon Smith made the special delivery to the Gossett’s home to surprise them with the cash!
