There are several local organizations needing help. You can find them all in one place, at Volunteer East Tennessee.
Here are a couple that are ongoing: the clothing center for kids in Knox County Schools needs more hands to fold, hang and sort items. You pick the time since hours are flexible between 8-4 PM. Also, the O’Connor Senior Center is also looking for people who can navigate a smart phone, computer and social media to help seniors learn some basic technology.
