New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby was diagnosed with right hamstring strain and is considered day-to-day, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.
Anunoby exited Wednesday’s Game 2 of the Eastern Conference second-round series with 2:31 remaining in the fourth quarter. He recorded 24 points, five rebounds and four steals to help the Knicks post a 108-102 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
New York leads 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.
Anunoby, 28, is listed as questionable for Game 3 on Friday in Philadelphia.
In his second full season with the Knicks after a December 2023 trade from the Toronto Raptors, Anunoby is averaging 21.4 points and 7.5 rebounds over eight games in the playoffs. He averaged 16.7 points with 5.2 rebounds over 67 regular-season games.
