June 8 (Reuters) – Polish horror game developer Bloober Team announced two new games — “Saw: Genesis” and “Star Trek: Shadow Frontier” — over the weekend at the Summer Game Fest event in Los Angeles.
The company also announced a DLC, additional downloadable content, to its award-winning game “Cronos: The New Dawn”, titled “Cronos: Lazarus”.
• “Saw: Genesis” is set to launch in early access formula on PC in the fourth quarter of 2026
• The game is based on the “Saw” franchise owned by Lions Gate Ancillary
• It will be a three-versus-one multiplayer horror title set 100 years before the events of the Saw films and Jigsaw
• The game will be published by Bloober Team and is being developed by Anshar Studios in collaboration with Lions Gate and Broken Mirror Games
• “Star Trek: Shadow Frontier” is a third-person story-driven action-adventure set in the Star Trek universe
• The game will feature actress Michelle Forbes who will reprise her role as Ro Laren from “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Star Trek: Picard” television series
• “Star Trek: Shadow Frontier” is being developed by Bloober Team and will be published by Paramount Games
• The game will debut on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027
• The “Cronos: Lazarus” DLC will launch in the fourth quarter of 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2
