Oct 05 (Field Level Media) – San Antonio Spurs forward Tobias Harris will miss the preseason due to a left calf strain, the team announced on Sunday.
Harris, who signed a two-year, $31 million deal with the Spurs in free agency in July, was injured during training camp.
The 34-year-old veteran is considered questionable for the Oct. 20 regular- season opener at home against Oklahoma City.
Harris averaged 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 63 games (all starts) for the Detroit Pistons last season.
He has career averages of 15.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 1,033 games (913 starts) with the Milwaukee Bucks (2011-13), Orlando Magic (2013-16), Pistons (2016-18; 2024-26), Los Angeles Clippers (2018-19) and Philadelphia 76ers (2019-2024) since being drafted in the first round in 2011.
